Rex and Lex are training to be Gladiators… they come to our Young Life club every week and “train” us because the “American Gladiator finals” will be at SharpTop Cove this summer while we’re there. It’s hilarious… They have ridiculous voices and ALOT of American pride!
We threw our first superbowl party in the newly remodeled house lastnight. All the YL leaders came out, ate yummy grilled delights, played games and of course watched a great game of football. Go giants!

Young Life’s all staff conference was in Orlando, FL Januaray 7-13. From visits from Jeff Foxworthy, Ben Stein, and Donald Miller to fun days at Universal and Sea World we had a blast!
January is always a slow month for YL and it is also a time that momentun can dramatically be gained or lost. The all staff conference definitely was a momentum and spiritual builder for me this year…. exactly what I needed.

This is a night that is preceded by a day of fasting together as a leadership body as we thank the Lord for the semester and seek Him. We break the fast with a HUGE Thanksgiving meal and then go out to the Queens University soccer field and play flag football. This year it was FREEZING but OH! so much fun.
